14.5" Match Fluted Barrel Description: * 6 groove, 1x9 Right-Hand Twist * Button Rifled * Nitro Carburized Finish * Threaded Muzzle * 4150 CMV Steel * Chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 DEZ ARMS, INC. match barrel. The precision 4150 CMV barrel with M4 cut extension, chambered 5.56 NATO/.223, pulled-button rifling process, lapped bore, polished chamber, and 11º crowned barrel delivers pinpoint accuracy. Each barrel is concentrically cut and muzzle threaded ½ -28 R.H. twist to accept flash hiders/suppressors, stressed relieved, turned on center to prevent accuracy robbing distortion when the barrel heats up, and hardened to 26-33 Rc giving the barrel a long life. Exterior includes detailed contouring, Nitro Carburized Finish * See Description (below). This fluted model features DEZ unique fluting designs to improve rigidity and aid in barrel cooling.Our pulled-button rifling produces a superbly accurate bore diameter with uniform rate of twist. The match barrel is machined to tighter specifications producing a tighter fit for greater accuracy.

Ready for YOUR choice of fluting: Twister or Straight Flute. This barrel uses a carbine length gas tube, carbine length hand guard, .750 dia. gas blocks, and front sight (not included). To be installed on a registered 14.5" short barreled rifle or pistol. All NFA RULES APPLY.

*Nitro carburized interior and exterior finish which is also applied to the barrel extension and gas port during heat treating and creates a monolithic black finish that is superior to hard chrome. The process does not add material to the internal dimension of the bore, increasing surface hardness to between 58-65 HRC, lowering bore friction, enhancing surface lubricity, improving running wear performance, enhancing corrosion resistance and heat resistance over industrial hard chrome.
